Toledo Opera is set to bring back “Opera Outdoors.”
The weekly performances will take place at the Wildwood Preserve Metropark starting on Sept. 11, 2024 and will feature soprano Sara Rachel Bacani, mezzo-soprano Emily Cotten, tenor Brady DelVecchio, baritone Robbie Raso, and pianist Alessandro “Alex” Rotundo.
“Music in nature is a beautiful combination,” said Scott Carpenter, director of public relations for Metroparks Toledo, per an official press release. “Seeing the Toledo Opera perform at Wildwood Preserve, with the Manor House as the backdrop, is a memorable experience whether you are enjoying the concert from a lawn chair or passing by on an evening walk.”
The event kicks off at 6 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, the performance will take place inside the Manor House. There will be additional performances on Sept. 18 and 25.
Toledo Opera is set to present “Tosca” and “South Pacific” during its 2024-25 season.
