Third Eye Theatre to Present Midwestern Premiere of ‘The Infinite Energy of Ada Lovelace’

Third Eye Theatre Ensemble has announced its eighth season of programming, with the company set for the Midwestern premiere of Kamala Sankaram’s “The Infinite Energy of Ada Lovelace.”

The 40-minute works follows the life of Ada Lovelace, who was the daughter of Lord Byron, as well as a prominent mathematician and pioneer of computer programming. The work will be performed with string quartet and piano, with cast to be announced at a later date.

“The Infinite Energy of Ada Lovelace” will run Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays between September 17 and October 5, 2021.

Third Eye Theatre Ensemble seeks to stage new or under-performed works with the intent of inspiring conversation on matters of human rights and social justice.

Sankaram is a renowned composer who has been commissioned by such organizations as The Glimmerglass Festival, Washington National Opera, Houston Grand Opera, and Shakespeare Theatre Company, among others.
