Chicago Fringe Opera has unveiled its upcoming fall 2026 showcases.

First up is “Waking the Witch” by composer and librettist Ashi Day. The one-act, 70-minute immersive chamber opera is scored for three singers and Pierrot ensemble. It also casts the audience as an accused witch surrounded by interrogators and animal familiars.

Performance Dates: Sept. 25 – 27, 2026

Then comes “OP*ERRATIC: Season 2.5,”Chicago Fringe Opera’s improvised opera series.

Performance Dates: Sept. 30 – Dec. 16, 2026
