The Théâtre des Champs-Elysées has announced a new date for Jakub Józef Orliński’s concert.

The French theater announced that the countertenor’s concert has been rescheduled for June 28 and 29, 2021. Orliński will perform alongside il Pomo d’Oro and will showcase music by Handel, Locatelli, Matteis, and Predieri.

Orliński was originally set to perform at the Champs-Elysées on Dec. 12 and 20 but both dates were postponed due to the spread of COVID-19 and France’s second lockdown.

The Théâtre de Champs-Elysées is currently closed with all performances canceled until March. Meanwhile, Orliński is expected to perform in Versailles this summer and is expected to make his Metropolitan Opera debut during the 2020-21 season. He is also set to perform at the Champs-Elysées in a concert performance of “Tamerlano.”
