The bass has also performed at the greatest opera houses including the Teatro alla Scala, Metropolitan Opera, Opéra National de Paris, Royal Opera House, Wiener Staatsoper, Bayerische Staatsoper, and San Francisco Opera.

Scandiuzzi will join a cast that includes Béatrice Uria-Monzon as La Gioconda, Judit Kutasi as Laura,  Agostina Smimmero as La Cieca, and Ramón Vargas as Enzo Grimaldo.

“La Gioconda” opens on Sept. 24 and will be performed five times until Oct. 3, 2021.
