The Opera Buffs is set to present “Music of the Spanish Speaking World.”

The program will be presented on Jan. 8 at the Barrett Recital Hall in the Pasadena Conservatory of Music and will feature a program of song, aria, and zarzuela.

Falla is a Colombian-American singer who has performed with such organizations as Washington Concert Society, Pacific Opera Project, the UCLA Philharmonic, New Rochelle Opera, Numi Opera Theatre, and Santa Monica College Opera, among others. Cuban-Colombian tenor León is currently pursuing his Masters in Vocal Performance at New England Conservatory of Music and has performed in Prague and New York City. He was a finalist at the Palm Springs Opera Guild Vocal Competition in 2018 and was recognized in Inland Empire Magazine’s “Best of the Best 2019” as “Best Up-and-Comer.” Finally, Solis is a graduate of the San Francisco Opera Adler Fellowship and has performed with such companies as Opera San Jose, Florida Grand Opera, Utah Opera, new York City Opera, Houston Grand Opera, Virginia Opera, Toledo Opera, El Paso Opera, and Fort Worth Opera, among others.

Audience members who are attending the performance will need to show proof of vaccination and all guests and performers are required to wear protective masks, unless singing, at all times. This is a necessary precaution to protect our guests and artists and is required by the County of Los Angeles.

Audience members will be required to reserve seats prior to arriving.
