
The New York Pops Announces New Board of Directors Appointee
By David SalazarThe New York Pops has announced the appointment of Elizabeth Marks to its Board of Directors.
Marks is a New York City native who has worked with Accenture in Madrid and Adbank. She has held executive roles with MPG, Havas Media, and BETC in Paris. She has also served as Global President of Maydream/AdForum and has been involved with sustainability initiatives through organizations such as OCEEF and the Earth Day Network.
“We are thrilled to welcome Elizabeth Marks to the board of The New York Pops. Her extensive experience in music industry marketing will perfectly augment the organization’s mission as we celebrate the orchestra’s 43rd Birthday Gala and look ahead to our next season at Carnegie Hall,” said New York Pops Board Chairman John Littzi per an official press release.
The organization is set to perform “If I Ain’t Got You: The Best of R&B with Aisha Jackson and Avery Wilson” on Feb. 13, 2026; “From Then to Now: The Music of Us with Max Clayton, Nova Payton, and Ephraim Sykes” on March 13, 2026; and the orchestra’s 43rd Birthday Gala, “Changed for Good: A Celebration of Stephen Schwartz,” on April 27, 2026. All of these showcases will take place at Carnegie Hall.
