The New York Pops has announced new musicians as well as appointments for its Board of Directors.

First up, Candace Carroll and Nadine Wong have been added to the Board of Directors. Carroll is the Chief Financial Officer at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) in New York City, and Wong is a Private Wealth Advisor, Executive Director, and a Global Sports and Entertainment Director in New York.

The company also announced new orchestra members, including cellist Amanda Asher and trumpet player John Dent. They will join the ensemble during this coming season.

Finally, Ganling B. Chu will join as Education Operations Coordinator, and Madison Davis will take on the role of Administrative and Production Coordinator.

The New York Pops season opens on Oct. 24, 2025, with “From Stage to Screen.”
