The Dallas Opera has announced the annual People’s Choice Concert on Oct. 4, 2025, at the Winspear Opera House in the Dallas Arts District.

This year’s free event will see audience members get a taste of some of opera’s greatest hits as well as a sneak peek at some of the music and talent in TDO’s upcoming 2025-26 Season.

There will be selections of music by Bizet, Mozart, Donizetti, and Bernstein. The audience will also be able to vote for the encore aria.

The concert will be hosted by General Director and CEO Ian Derrer and will include mezzo-sopranos Marina Viotti and Kristen Choi, soprano Diana Newman, tenor Matthew Goodheart, and baritone Kyle Miller.

The Dallas Opera Head of Music, Paolo Bressan conducts the Dallas Opera Orchestra.
