The Cleveland Orchestra Set for 19th Residency in Miami

The Cleveland Orchestra will return to South Florida for its 19th year of Miami residency.

The ensemble announced that in 2026, it will present audiences with four programs including two showcases of Verdi’s “Requiem.” The famed work will star Asmik Grigorian, Deniz Uzun, Joshua Guerrero, and Tareq Nazmi. Franz Welser-Möst conducts the performances, scheduled for Jan. 23 and 24, 2026.

Additionally, the orchestra will showcase programs featuring Itzhak Perlman, Yefim Bronfman, and Sergey Khachatyran.

“We are thrilled to return to the Arsht Center next season for our 19th year of our residency in South Florida,” said André Gremillet, President & CEO of The Cleveland Orchestra, in an official press reease. “Knight Concert Hall provides a superb venue for connecting with Miami’s enthusiastic audiences, and we look forward to our continued collaboration. We are proud to be part of Miami’s thriving cultural scene as we contribute to further developing this great city’s symphonic music audience, both with our concerts and educational activities.”

The program commenced with a partnership with Adrienne Arsht Center in January 2007.
