The Bach Society of Saint Louis has announced a full roster of concerts and community events for the 2024 St. Louis Bach Festival.

The festival begins with “Bach at the Bistro: A Night at the Movies.” Stephen Eros directs performances by select members of the Bach Society Chorus.

Next is a Free Education Concert. The 2023-24 Bach Society Young Artist award recipients will perform a range of musical styles from musical theatre to classical favorites, and delve into the behind-the-scenes of pursuing a music career.

The Young Artist Showcase in collaboration with the Couts Music Series at Second Presbyterian Church features operatic and oratorio repertoire.

The Bach Society Orchestra and Chorus open the stage for its Community Spring Sing, which will include popular choral works and Schubert’s “Mass in G Major.”

“The Heart of Bach, Choral Motets and Organ Chorales” led by Music Director and Conductor, A. Dennis Sparger concludes the season.
