Tête à Tête Opera Festival has unveiled some unique operas that it will be presenting in the coming weeks.

First up will “Last Party on Earth,” which will showcase a post-apocalyptic work where two survivors make their way through what’s left of the world until they come across a Queen of Cans in a bunker. The story takes a dark turn.

The opera will be taking place at The Cockpit Theatre in Marylebone on Sept. 16, 2020. Audiences who can’t make it to the show will get a chance to check it out online on Sept. 18 at 7:40 p.m.

Next up is “Bread and Circuses,” a work that looks back at the imagined history behind Trump’s real-world 2007 appearance on a televised wrestling event. From there, it reimagines how this event helped shape his rise to power and the tactics he would employ.

The opera will be performed at The Cockpit Theatre on Sept. 20, 2020, with an online showcase set for Sept. 24 at 8 p.m.
