Tenor Simon O’Neill Announces New Management
By David SalazarTenor Simon O’Neill has joined the roster of Arsis Artist Management. He will be managed by Michael Lewin.
The tenor recently appeared alongside Gustavo Dudamel for a performance of Mahler’s Symphony No. 8 and also performed in “Fidelio” with the Sydney Symphony.”
He will also appear in a new recording of “Siegfried” under Sir Simon Rattle for BR Klassik; the recording is set for release on Sept. 22, 2023, and also stars Anja Kampe, Michael Volle, and Peter Hoare. This is O’Neill’s third recording of the title role following appearances in recordings by Jaap van Zweden and Sir Mark Elder.
In an official press release the tenor issued, he noted that he was “grateful to Joel Thomas of Askonas Holt for the careful management of his career for nearly two decades.”
