The Teatro Regio di Parma is set to present a RegioYoung version of “Il Matrimonio Segreto.”

The abridged version will be presented in a one-hour version for four performances between Feb. 11 and Feb. 18, 2023. The version will be directed and curated by Roberto Catalan and conducted by Davide Levi.

The production will star Pietro Mazzetti. Protagonisti Giulia Mazzola, Veronika Seghers, Antonio Mandrillo, Bekir Serbest, Veta Pilipenko, Valentina Stadler, Francesco Leone, Ignas Melnikas, Marilena Ruta, Eleonora Nota, Jan Antem, and Ramiro Maturana.

The production of “Il Matrimonio Segreto” will be presented at the same time that the company showcases the full opera as part of its main stage productions. It will also marks the first time that the opera is presented in 60 years.
