Teatro Regio di Parma Announces Winner for Premio Scrivere d’Opera ‘Elena Formica’

The Teatro Regio di Parma has announced the winners for the Premio Scrivere d’Opera “Elena Formica.”

The winners were announced on March 21 at a ceremony at the Teatro Regio di Parma. The competition took place with the support of the Associazione Nazionale dei Critici Musicali and Associazione Nazionale dei Critici di Teatro.

The first prize was awarded to Asia Ghirardi (Liceo Artistico “Paolo Toschi”), Leonardo Iappini (Liceo Classico “Gian Domenico Romagnosi”), and Eugenia Trivioli (Liceo Scientifico “Guglielmo Marconi”). They received 12 tickets for the 2023 and 2024 seasons.

Second prize went to Virginia Rizzardi (Liceo Scientifico “Guglielmo Marconi”) who wins six tickets and third prize went to Michela Cantoni (Liceo Artistico “Paolo Toschi”) who will receive four tickets.

The finalists were Giulia Cerati, Emma Greta Chiesi (Liceo Classico “Maria Luigia”), Matilde Alberici, Angela Iemmi (Liceo Classico “Gian Domenico Romagnosi”), Martina Giagosti (Liceo Classico “Paciolo-D’Annunzio”), Agata Coloretti (Liceo Artistico “Paolo Toschi”), Elena Benassi, Giulia Fontana (Liceo Musicale “Attilio Bertolucci”), and Ferret Gift Onyebuchi Samson (Istituto “Pietro Giordani”) who received two tickets.

The awards, which were presented by Mara Pedrabissi, saw the participation of Luciano Messi, Sovrintendente of the Teatro Regio; Claudio Rinaldi, director of Gazzetta di Parma; and curators Angelo Foletto, Presidente di ANCM and music critic for La Repubblica, Carla Moreni and Valeria Ottolenghi.
