Teatro Regio di Parma Announces Cast Changes for ‘Tosca’

The Teatro Regio di Parma has announced a cast change for its production of “Tosca.”

The company said that for its May 17 and 19 performances, Maria José Siri and Fabio Sartori will sing the roles of Tosca and Cavaradossi replacing Anastasia Bartoli and Brian Jagde, who are ill.

Siri and Sartori have performed the roles around the world and are set to join a cast that includes Luca Salsi. Daniel Oren will conduct a production by Joseph Franconi Lee.

The May 17 performance is set to be recorded for OperaVision and will be streamed on May 31 on the streaming platform.

Jagde and Bartoli are set to return to the production for the May 23 and 25 performances.
