
Teatro La Fenice to Present Alessandro Scarlatti’s ‘Il trionfo dell’onore’
By Francisco SalazarThe Teatro La Fenice is set to celebrate the 300 years of the death of Alessandro Scarlatti with is work “Il trionfo dell’onore.”
The work has never been performed in Venice and will be showcased in a new production by Stefano Vizioli with costumes and set design by Ugo Nespolo. Additionally, the piece will be shown with a new version edited by Aaron Carpenè based on the original manuscript and will be conducted by Enrico Onofri.
The cast will include Dave Monaco, Luca Cervoni, Rosa Bove, Francesca Lombardi Mazzulli, Giulia Bolcato, Riccardo Albenori, Raffaele Pe, Erminio Dorini, Giuseppina Bridelli, Rosina Caruccia, and Tommaso Barea.
“Il trionofo dell’onore” will be take the stage from March 7 to March 15 at the Teatro Malibran. The first performance will be broadcast on Rai Radio 3.
