
Eugenia Forteza Headlines Teatro Grattacielo’s Gotham Park Performance of ‘Generación Perdida’

Teatro Grattacielo has announced several upcoming events and collaborations taking place this fall.
Opera at Gotham Park returns with a miniature performance of Jorge Sosa’s opera “Generación Perdida,”staring mezzo-soprano Eugenia Forteza. A series of video clips from the summer production of Sosa’s opera will also be shown. The performance on Oct. 18 is held alongside The Longest Table’s community meal.
Forteza recently performed in productions of “Le Nozze di Figaro” and “The Tin Angel” with Teatro Grattacielo and is slated to appear in concerts with Spotlight Artists and Teatro Grattacielo in New York City this October.
Later this season, Teatro Grattacielo will give the U.S. premiere of the original Italian libretto for Castelnuovo Tedesco’s “The Importance of Being Earnest,” and the world premiere of Joshua Nicols and David Winkler’s double bill of “Jefferson Lives!” and “Lorenzo Da Ponte.”
