The Teatro Digital will showcase Joyce DiDonato’s “In War and Peace: Harmony Through Music” tour from the Teatro Mayor in Bogotá, Colombia.

The recording comes from the concert that DiDonato held on Oct. 18, 2019 in Bogota alongside Il Pomo d’Oro and Maxim Emelyanychev. The concert included music by Händel, Leo, De Cavalieri, Purcell, Gesualdo and Pärt as part of her acclaimed tour which is set to conclude this week.

The Teatro Digital will present the concert on Nov. 7 at 8 p.m.

DiDonato began the tour “In War and Peace” in 2016 and she has presented the program in 23 countries and 44 cities to more than 2.3 million audience members. The tour comes to an end in Washington D.C with performances at the Kennedy Center and a talk with Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg and Donna Leon.
