Teatro de la Zarzuela Allowed to Perform at Full Capacity

The INAEM, Instituto Nacional de las Artes Escénicas y de la Música, has announced that as of Sept. 21, theaters in Madrid, Spain will be able to perform at full capacity.

The new rules will affect such theaters as the Centro Nacional de Difusión Musical at the Auditorio Nacional as well as upcoming performances at the Teatro de la Zarzuela, Teatro de la Comedia, Teatro María Guerrero, and Teatro Valle-Inclán.

Previously these theaters were only allowing 75 percent capacity. With the new rules, the theaters will be able to sell 100% of their tickets.

The Teatro de la Zarzuela’s upcoming production “Los Gavilanes” will open in October and will be followed by “La Tabernera del Puerto.”
