The Fiskars Summer Festival, which runs from July 29 to August 8, 2025, will feature an Open House showcasing its young artists.

The program, slated for August 1, 2025, will feature Iris Candelaria as she takes on arias from “Mitridate, Re di Ponto,” “Le Nozze di Figaro,” and “Il Barbiere di Siviglia.” The Finnish soprano has performed at the Finnish National Opera, Savonlinna Opera Festival, and was a first prize and audience winner at the 2023 Lappeenranta Singing Competition. Next season, the soprano will return to the Savonlinna Opera Festival and the Finnish National Opera. She is also set to perform at the Teatro Arriaga de Bilbao.

Jukka-Pekka Saraste conducts the concert, which also includes Beethoven’s Symphony No. 8.

In addition to this performance, the festival will feature several chamber music concerts as well as a Festival Finale with the Fiskars Festival Orchestra, also under Saraste.
