Teatro Comunale di Sassari Announces 2023 Season

The Teatro Comunale di Sassari has announced its 2023 season.

The season will open with a concert conducted by Michelangelo Mazza and soprano Francesca Sassu.

Performance Date: Sept. 23, 2023

Verdi’s “Macbeth” will be conducted by Michelangelo Mazza and will star Franco Vassallo, Gabrielle Mouhlen, and Gianluca Terranova. Andrea Cigni directs.

Performance Dates: Oct. 13 & 15, 2023

Rossini’s “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” will star Domenico Balzani and will be directed by Victor Garcia Sierra. Roberto Gianola conducts.

Poulenc’s “La Voix Humaine”  Roberto Hazon’s “Agenzia Matrimoniale” will be paired in a double bill. Paoletta Marrocu stars with Daniele Agiman conducting.

Performance Dates: Nov. 16-18, 2023

Verdi’s “Nabucco” will be directed by Leo Muscato and will star Marco Caria and Anastasia Boldyreva. Fabrizio Maria Carminati conducts.

Performance Dates: Dec. 8-12, 2023
