By Francisco Salazar

The Teatro Comunale di Bologna has announced a new Web TV.

The new channel was created in order to give audiences a variety of content and to create more profound discussions. The idea is to create narrative formats hosting personalities from the musical and theatrical world. The conversations will be integrated with backstage and rehearsal footage or performance footage.

The new Web TV will be inaugurated with “Parole per Beethoven” on the Teatro Comunale di Bologna’s YouTube channel on Wednesday, May 5. The series will include conversations led by Bassoon player Guido Giannuzzi and will include Ivano Dionigi, Ermanno Cavazzoni, Raffaele Milani, and Rita Marcotulli.

The series will conclude on May 26.

The Teatro Comunale di Bologna is currently offering several opera performances and recitals on YouTube including “Tosca,” “Salome,” and “Il Barbiere di Siviglia.”
