Resonance Works Announces 2026-27 Season

Resonance Works has announced its 2026-27 season.

The season opens with “An Anchor in Time,” a concert featuring the Resonance Chamber Orchestra, Festival Chorus, and soloists Timothi Williams and Daniel Teadt. The concert is paired with Aaron Copland’s Appalachian Spring Suite.

Performance Date: Sept. 27, 2026


Rachel Portman’s “The Little Prince” will star Daniel Teadt as the Pilot, with Timothi Williams and Loghan Bazan as The Fox, Robert Frankenberry as The Snake and The Vain Man, Zuly Inirio as The Water, Yazid Gray as The Businessman, Brad Smoak as The King, and Adrianna Cleveland as The Rose.

Performance Dates: Nov. 20, 21, and 22, 2026


The Reson8 Vocal Octet presents David Lang’s “little match girl passion.” The program also features contemporary works by Errolyn Wallen, Gilda Lyons, Kristin Kuster, and others.

Performance Dates: Jan. 22, 23, & 24, 2027


Rachmaninoff’s “All Night Vigil” will be dedicated to the memory of Pittsburgh musical legend, conductor, and educator Robert Page, in honor of his 100th birthday.

Performance Dates: March 19 & 21, 2027


The season concludes with Verdi’s “Don Carlo” led by Robert Frankenberry in the title role, Natalie Polito as Elizabeth of Valois, Sergio Martinez as Philip II, Leah Heater as Princess Eboli, Joshua Jeremiah as Rodrigo, Paul Chwe MinChul An as the Grand Inquisitor, and Sarah Austin as Tebaldo.

Performance Dates: June 18 & 20, 2027
