The Teatro Colón de Buenos Aires has confirmed that Anna Netrebko and Yusif Eyvazov will perform “Tosca” on Nov. 26 and 29, 2022.
The theater also noted that there will be an additional performance on Nov 24.
Keri-Lynn Wilson will conduct the extra performance but will not lead Netrebko and Eyvazov’s performances. Another conductor will be announced in the coming days.
Per reports, the Netrebko and Eyvazov performances are special presentations and as a result, will be available for pre-sale on Oct. 3 with general tickets on sale on Oct. 4.
In addition to the performances of “Tosca,” Netrebko and Eyvazov are set to perform a concert of arias and songs on Nov. 23.
“Tosca” opens on Nov. 22 and runs through Dec. 4. The work will also star María Pía Piscitelli and Virginia Tola in the title role.
