Teatro Coccia Announces 2023 Season

Sara Cortolezzis, Gaston Rivero, Jorge Nelson Martinez González, and Carmen Topciu star in Verdi’s “Il Trovatore” with Antonello Allemandi conducting. Deda Cristina Colonna directs.
Performance Dates: Jan. 20-22, 2023
Rossini’s “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” will be conducted by Christopher Franklin and directed by Alberto Jona. Chuan Wang, Michele Govi, Mara Gaudenzi, Emmanuel Franco, and Abramo Rosalen star.
Performance Dates: May 12-14, 2023
“La Zia di Carlo” will be performed with Cesare Della Sciucca conducting.
Performance Dates: June 14 & 15, 2023
Verdi’s “Nabucco” will be performed in the summer with Alberto Jona directing.
Performance Dates: July 8-16, 2023
Carlo Lombardo and Virgilio Ranzaro’s “Il Paese dei Campanelli” will be conducted by Roberto Gianola and directed by Alessandro Talevi.
Performance Dates: Sept. 29 & Oct. 1, 2023
Rossini’s “L’inganno Felice” will be conducted by Luciano Acocella and directed by Matteo Anselmi. The opera will be performed in a double bill with “Cavilli ovvero L’inganno Felice” featuring music by Federico Biscione.
Performance Dates: Oct. 20 & 22, 2023
Puccini’s “La Boheme” will be conducted by José Luis Gomez and directed by Marco Gandini. Azer Zada, Mihaela Marcu, Massimo Cavalletti, Leonora Tess, and Abramo Rosalen star.
Performance Dates: Dec. 15-17, 2023
