Teatro Alla Scala to Stream ‘Guillaume Tell’

The Teatro alla Scala is set to stream Rossini’s “Guillaume Tell” on its streaming platform LaScalaTv.

The new production by Chiara Muti will be streamed on April 6 at 6:45 p.m. CEST in HD and will be conducted by Michele Mariotti.  The cast includes Salome Jicia, Dmitry Korchak, and Michele Pertusi, as well as Nahuel Di Pierro, Evgeny Stavinsky, Luca Tittoto, Brayan Ávila Martinez, Paul Grant, and Dave Monaco.

The production marks the first time La Scala presents the opera in its original French version.

The opera will be available on demand until April 13, 2024.
