Tamara Wilson, Ryan Speedo Green & Gustavo Dudamel Lead LA Philharmonic’s 2023-24 Season

LA Philharmonic has announced its 2023-24 season, which will celebrate the company’s 20th anniversary at Disney Hall.

Special guest singers join Gustavo Dudamel and the LA Phil to celebrate iconic protest music by Latina artists with “Canto en resistencia.” Silvana Estrada is the soloist. 

Performance Dates: Nov. 9-12, 2023

Esa-Pekka Salonen leads Los Angeles Master Chorale in Salonen’s “Karawane” and Ravel’s “Daphnis and Chloé.”

Performance Dates: Dec. 1-3, 2023

Chanticleer will celebrate Christmas.

Performance Dates: Dec. 13, 2023

Melissa Peterman will host a Holiday Sing-along with John Sutton conducting the Angeles Chorale.

Performance Dates: Dec. 16, 2023

Wagner’s “Das Rheingold”  will be conducted by Gustavo Dudamel with a cast that includes Ryan Speedo Green, Raehann Bryce-Davis, Simon O’Neill, Barry Banks, Jochen Schmeckenbecher, Morris Robinson, Peixin Chen, Jessica Faselt, Ann Toomey, Taylor Raven, Tamara Mumford, and Kyle Albertson.

Performance Dates: Jan. 18-21, 2024

Thomas Ades conducts Oliver Leith’s Last Days.”

Performance Dates: Feb. 6, 2024

Beethoven’s “Fidelio” is set to be conducted by Gustavo Dudamel and directed by Alberto Arvelo and Joaquín Solano. Tamara Wilson, Andrew Staples, Gabriella Reyes, David Portillo, James Rutherford, Shenyang, and Patrick Blackwell.

Performance Dates: May 16 & 17, 2024
