The American Opera Project has announced that it will receive the New Music USA Project Grant for “The Night Falls.” The work, which is billed as a dance-driven combination of opera, dance, and musical theater, will be choreographed and directed by Troy Schumacher and features music by Ellis Ludwig-Leone.
