Conductor Swann van Rechem has joined Intermusica for worldwide general management.

The conductor will be managed by Bridget Emmerson, Deputy Chief Executive / Head of Artist Management.

Van Rechem came to international attention in September 2023 when he won the Grand Prize, Audience Prize and Orchestra Prize at the 58th Besançon International Competition for Young Conductors in 2023.

He has appeared in Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium, and the Czech Republic with the MDR-Sinfonieorchester, Orchestre National de Lille, Nord Nederland Orkest, Jenaer Philharmonie, and the Hradec Králové Philharmonic. Van Rechem has also conducted the Opéra de Nantes, Opéra de Rouen Normandie, Opera Ballet Vlaanderen, and the Deutsches National Theater Weimar.
