British soprano Susannah Hardwick is set to launch her pop-up song concert series, “A Night In Paris: An Evening of French Cabaret” in New York City on Feb. 13, 2024.

Hardwick’s concept for the concert series is “contemporary and different from the typical classical recital format.” With this, she aims to break down barriers of formality that often surrounds opera and classical music and evoke the atmosphere of the early twentieth century cabaret bars of Paris. She is joined by pianist Jason Handy at the Rockwood Music Hall for the series debut.
Based in New York, Hardwick has performed worldwide including at the Spoleto Festival USA, the Lewisham Choral Society, the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival, the Royal College of Music, and with the Boston Conservatory Opera. She is also an accomplished chorister having been a member of the Rodolfus Choir, and currently sings with the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church Chamber Choir, and subs with several professional choirs in Manhattan.

She was named the winner of the Copland Award in the 2023 Orpheus Vocal Competition, and was a semifinalist in both the Opera Mississippi John Alexander National Vocal Competition and the Pasadena Vocal Competition. Hardwick was also the winner of a Collingwood Finalist’s Prize in the Kathleen Ferrier Bursary for Young Singers in 2018.
