American baritone Stephen Gaertner has joined Quintana Artist Management for General Management.

The baritone performs extensively across North America and Europe in works by Verdi, Bellini, Leoncavallo, Mascagni, Puccini, Zanadonai, and Bizet.

He has performed at the Savonlinna Opera Festival, Opernfestspiele Heidenheim, Opéra de Dijon, the Metropolitan Opera, Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre, Teatro San Carlo, Teatro de la Ópera, San Juan, Opera Grand Rapids, Teatro Verdi Trieste, and Sarasota Opera.

Gaertner is also a frequent performer of opera in concert. He appeared with Teatro Grattacielo at Alice Tully Hall in Zandonai’s “I Cavalieri di Ekebù” and in Leoncavallo’s “Zazà.” He also appeared with the Opera Orchestra of New York at Carnegie Hall and the Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie Konstanz.

Among his recordings are “Simon Boccanegra” from the Metropolitan Opera and “Zingari” for Opera Rara.
