
Stephanie Blythe & Ryan Michki Headline The Orchestra Now’s 2025-26 Season
By David SalazarThe Orchestra Now (TŌN) has unveiled its 2025-26 season. Here is a rundown of the vocal performances on offer.
Mahler’s Third Symphony takes the spotlight at The Fisher Center at Bard. Stephanie Blythe will be the soloist. The program also includes the Bard Conservatory Preparatory Chorus and Bard College Chamber Singers. Leon Botstein conducts.
Performance Date: Sept. 20 & 21, 2025
Tenor Ryan Michki will perform music by Vaughan Williams in a program that also includes works by Strauss, Purcell, and Barber. Zachary Schwartzman conducts the program, which takes place at Peter Norton Symphony Space in New York City.
Performance Date: Nov. 23, 2025
Leon Bostein leads an all-Strauss program that includes “Eine Alpensinfonie,” “Die Tageszeiten,” and “Buleske in D Minor.” The program includes members of the Bard Festival Chorale as well as pianist Blair McMillen. This program will get two performances at The Fischer Center, followed by a final one at Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage.
Performance Date: May 9-10, 2026 (Fisher Center) & May 12, 2026 (Carnegie Hall)
