Our Concerts Live has announced a new virtual Valentine’s Day showcase on Feb. 13, 2021 featuring mezzo-soprano Stephanie Blythe.

The concert, entitled “It’s Love that Keeps Us Together with Stephanie Blythe” will feature the internationally renowned mezzo perform selections from the American Songbook with a special appearance by her drag alter ego Blythely Orantonio.

“In a usual season, the kaleidoscopic nature of my work whisks me to a new location every month or two. This means I am continually discovering what I hold dear – a sense of family, a feeling of belonging, and the recognition of connection – in new shapes and forms. It fills me with wonder every single time. The through line is music; songs build community, they give us a sense of being part of our world, and they shift how we relate to the people in it. And when we share in them together everything that doesn’t matter just falls away,” Blythe said in a press release.

This is the third concert event that Blythe takes on alongside Our Concerts Live. She is also set to perform a Spring-themed concert in April.
