Stefano Coluccini Appointed General Director of the Puccini Festival

Stefano Coluccini has been appointed the General Director of the Puccini Festival.

The board of directors of the Fondazione Festival Pucciniano announced the news.

Coluccini has worked with the festival since 1993 and has also worked with the San Severo Musica Festival, and Teatro di Castalia, among others.

This season the Puccini festival is set to open with a new production of “Turandot” and is also set to perform “Tosca,” “La Boheme,” “Madama Butterfly,” “La Fanciulla del West,” and “La Bohème.” There will also be galas featuring Jonas Kaufmann and Plácido Domingo.
