
Anna Netrebko to Return to Puccini Festival in 2027
By Francisco SalazarThe Puccini festival has announced that Anna Netrebko will return to the festival in 2027.
The company revealed that the soprano will sing two productions during the season. It will be the first time Netrebko sings a production at the festival; she previously appeared in 2025 when she sang in a gala concert and won of the Puccini Prize in 2024.
The 2027 season will see the festival showcase “La rondine,” “Turandot,” “Tosca,” “Madama Butterfly,” and “ La bohème.”
Details for the 2027 edition will be announced at a later date.
Over the years Netrebko has performed several Puccini roles around the world including Turandot, Mimì, Manon Lescaut, Tosca, and Musetta. She has sung 28 productions of Puccini operas in 15 different theatres/festivals across eight countries on four continents.
