St. Pete Opera is set to present “Pinocchio” on Nov. 10-19, 2023.

Created by John Davies, the opera is part of the company’s family series and features music by Donizetti, Offenbach, Mozart, and Verdi. The four performances will be conducted by Mark Sforzini. Stephen M. Ray, Jr. directs.

It stars Jada Griffin, Kevin D. Mitchell, Jr., Pascale Spinney, Ariel Andrew, Lloyd Reshard Jr., Patrick McNally, and Ashley Thunder.

“Pinocchio” is sponsored by Elaine Stupp, St. Petersburg Opera Guild, Pinellas County Schools, Irene A. Athos, Gloria Matyszyk & J. Richard Caldwell, and the Tampa Bay Times.

The company is also presenting productions of “Alcina,” “Turandot,” and “Lucia di Lammermoor” throughout its 2023-24 season. It is also showing its “Morning with the Maestro” series.
