“Speaking Personally: Louis Quilico in Conversation with Christina Petrowska Quilico” has been released on Spotify.

The 23-episode podcast series features “unedited and unfiltered” conversations between the famed baritone and his wife, who is also an internationally renowned pianist. Each conversation has a duration of 35 minutes and sees the famed singer reflect on his career, including his affinity for the role of Verdi’s Rigoletto, which he sang over 500 times at the Met.

“Even though he has been gone almost a quarter-century, I miss Louis every day,” said Christina Petrowska Quilico per an official release. “I find it hard to listen to our taped conversations without tears coming, but he has so many entertaining stories, and so much knowledge to impart that what he had to say just has to be shared. Even years after his passing, I continue to receive heartfelt appreciation for Louis from fans all over the world. So I know they will appreciate hearing him in his own voice.”

Known as “Mr. Rigoletto,” the baritone’s professional debut came in 1954 in Montreal. He passed away on July 15, 2000.
