Soprano Hui He To Embark On Chinese Tour

Hui He is set to return to China for a six-concert tour.

The tour opens on Dec. 21 at the Qintai Concert Hall in Wuhan with pianist Roberto Corlianò, followed by a concert on Dec. 24 at the Concert Hall in Chengdu. There will also be concerts Jan. 4 and 8 in Beijing at the Forbidden City Concert Hall and Tianjin at the Grand Theater.”

Hui He will also perform a special gala evening on Dec. 30 in Xi’an and Jan. 1, 2020 in Shenzhen. During the Xi’an concert the soprano will be accompanied by the Xi’an Symphony Orchestra. Pietro Rizzo will conduct and Gianluca Terranova will perform during the concert.

For the Shenzhen Concert Hall concert, Hui He and Terranova will be accompanied by the Ukrainian Radio Symphony Orchestra conducted by Vladimir Sheiko. In addition, the concert will see the participation of the clarinetist Guo-Yueqiang.

The tour will include a wide-ranging program that includes arias from the popular operatic Italian repertoire, as well as some music surprises.
