The Metropolitan Opera, together with Fathom Events, has announced that it will be presenting summer encore performances of its Live in HD series.

The Encore series kicks off with a repeat screening of the 2015 production of “The Merry Widow” starring Renée Fleming, Nathan Gunn, Kelli O’Hara, Alek Shrader, and Thomas Allen. Andrew Davis conducts.

Screening Date: July 13, 2022

Next up is “Madama Butterfly” in a transmission from 2009. That showcase starred Patricia Racette, Marcello Giordani, and Maria Zifchak.

Michael Fabiano, Sonya Yoncheva, Susanna Phillips, and Lucas Meachem headline the 2018 performance of “La Bohème” with Marco Armiliato in the pit.

Screening Date: August 3, 2022 

Closing out the series will be the 2008 performance of “La Fille du Régiment” starring Natalie Dessay, Juan Diego Flórez, Alessandro Corbelli, and Felicity Palmer.
