Sonya Yoncheva is gracing the champagne carpet at the Academy Awards.

The soprano took to social media and said, “So happy to be at this year’s Oscars!”

This is the second time that Yoncheva attends the Oscars. She first attended in 2019 as a guest for Rolex. The soprano is an ambassador for the timepiece maker’s brand.

This year classical music is being represented at the Oscars through the film “Tar,” which is up for six Academy Awards including Best Picture. It has been a conversation piece amongst many industry figures. Danielle De Niese praised the film for its timeliness while Marin Alsop felt the film was offensive.
