Sonya Yoncheva Announces New Management

Sonya Yoncheva has joined Askonas Holt’s roster.

The company announced that Yoncheva joined its roster for worldwide general management and will now be represented by Imogen Lewis Holland and Jessica Wadey.

In a press statement the Donagh Collins, Chief Executive of Askonas Holt said, “What a joy to welcome a singer with the class and style of Sonya Yoncheva to our family of artists here at Askonas Holt.”

Yoncheva is currently at the Metropolitan Opera preparing to reprise Desdemona in Verdi’s “Otello” alongside Stuart Skelton and Gustavo Dudamel. She is also scheduled to sing Tchaikovsky’s “Iolanta” with the company in February and will also sing the title role in Puccini’s “Tosca” at the Opera de Paris.

She will also perform the title role in Vellini’s “Norma” at the Bayerische Staatsoper and will return to Cherubini’s “Medée” at the Salzburg Festival in the summer.
