Sonya Headlam & Leiken Headline Chelsea Music Festival’s 2025 Lineup

New York’s Chelsea Music Festival has unveiled its 2025 events. Here is a rundown of the vocal and opera-related showcases on offer for the 16th edition of the series.

Soprano Sonya Headlam joins the Ivalas Quartet and pianist Melinda Lee Masur for a program of works by Helena Winkelman, Honegger, Bloch, and Martin at St. Paul’s German Lutheran Church.

Performance Date: June 20, 2025

Tenor Leiken performs Herman Au Reichenau’s “Historia Sancti Magni” with the Theotkos Ensemble and organist Doug Balliett. This event also takes place at St. Paul’s German Lutheran Church.

Performance Date: June 26, 2025

The festival runs from June 20 – 28, 2025.
