Simon Keenlyside, Joélle Harvey, Lauren Snouffer, Liv Redpath Headline Cleveland Orchestra’s 2025 International Radio Broadcast Series

The Cleveland Orchestra is teaming up with WCLV / Ideastream Public Media and WFMT to present a 13-week radio international broadcast series.

Here is the rundown of the vocal performances on offer.

First up is Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 “Resurrection.” Franz Welser-Möst conducts with Lauren Snouffer and Marie-Nicole Lemieux as the soloists.

Streaming Date: Jan. 7, 2025

Then comes a concert featuring music by Schubert and Berg. Joélle Harvey, Daryl Freedman, Julian Prégardien, Martin Mitterrutzner, and Dashon Burton are the vocal soloists. Franz Welser-Möst conducts.

Streaming Date: Jan. 14, 2025

Daniel Reith conducts an event in collaboration with First Mandel Opera and Humanities Festival called “Dreams We’ve Dreamed; Songs We’ve Sung; Hopes We’ve Held.” The program features works by Julia Perry, Joplin, Hermann, Chacon, Grant Still, and Varèse.

Barbara Hannigan conducts a program showcasing the works of Haydn, Vivier, Ligeti, and Strauss. Soprano Aphrodite Patoulidou solos.

Liv Redpath is the soloist of Mahler’s Fourth Symphony. Daniel Harding conducts.

Streaming Date: March 18, 2025

Dalia Stasevska conducts a program featuring mezzo-soprano Josefina Maldonado. Audiences will hear music by Sibelius, Julia Perry, and Einojuhani Rautavaara.
