Shriver Hall Concert Series Announces Three Board of Directors

Shriver Hall Concert Series has announced the appointments of Dr. Nia Banks, Christopher Dunn, and Dr. Erik Franklin to its Board of Directors.

Dr. Regina Anderson, Chair of the Board of Directors said, “I am pleased to announce the appointment of our three newly elected members to the Board of the Shriver Hall Concert Series. Dr. Nia Banks, Christopher Dunn, and Dr. Erik Franklin each bring their energetic enthusiasm, talents, and willingness to assist us with our ongoing mission of providing outstanding classical music to our community, here, in Baltimore. As Chair of the Board, I am delighted to publicly welcome them.”

Banks is a board-certified plastic surgeon serving the Annapolis, Washington, DC, and Baltimore areas. In 2009, she started a private practice at the Beaux Arts Institute of Plastic Surgery where she remains on the cutting edge in the field of cosmetic surgery. She is also a commissioner of the Maryland Economic Development Commission, a member of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., and a trustee for Baltimore Center Stage.

Dunn is a distinguished classical guitarist and accomplished music educator with an extensive background in performance and music business management. Dunn also oversees a boutique music agency, managing over 100 events annually, recruiting talent, and spearheading marketing and operational strategies.

Composer and clarinetist Franklin balances a vibrant, varied career on and off the stage. He holds degrees from Furman University and Indiana University Jacobs School of Music and resides in Baltimore, where he is an active member of the local arts community.
