By David Salazar

Suzanne Nance is stepping down from her position as President and CEO of All Classical Radio following a 10-year stint.

Nance will be headed to Ireland to join her husband, composer and conductor Desdmon Early, and take over leadership at a major arts organization in Europe.

“I am deeply grateful for this extraordinary chapter of my life,” said Nance, per an official press release. “It has been an honor to lead this remarkable organization and to work alongside a phenomenal Board of Directors and our ever-inspiring Board Chair Elaine Durst. We truly have an exceptional team, and a vibrant, supportive community of listeners. While I am excited for this new chapter in Ireland, I will always carry Portland and All Classical in my heart.”

Nance joined the company in 2015 and has led All Classical Radio to “record-breaking listenership, launched the acclaimed International Children’s Arts Network (ICAN), and built a state-of-the-art headquarters in downtown Portland.”
