
Shelén Hughes Camacho & Joseph Parrish to Headline George and Nora London Foundation for Singers’ 2025-26 Season

The company noted that the final round of the competition is slated for Feb. 20, 2026, at 4 p.m. A dozen artists will compete for five $12,000 prizes.
Performance Date: Feb. 20, 2026
Later in the season, the company will feature a recital showcasing soprano Shelén Hughes Camacho and baritone Joseph Parrish. Both artists were 2025 George London Award winners. Hughes Camacho has performed with the Frankfurt Opera, Blossom Music Festival, New York Festival of Song, Carnegie Hall, Teatro Municipal de Santiago, and Opera Theatre of Saint Louis. Parrish has appeared at Carnegie Hall, the Salzburg Festival, the Kennedy Center, Cincinnati Opera, MasterVoices, and Cathedral of St. John the Divine, among others.
Performance Date: April 30, 2026
Both events will take place at Merkin Hall at Kaufman Music Center in New York City.
