Shakespeare Opera Theatre is set to present “Much Ado About Nothing” this July.
The production takes audiences on a journey to Sicily through Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing,” complemented by Berlioz’s “Béatrice et Bénédict” music throughout. With performances in English and French (with surtitles), this fully staged experience, described as a “surround-sound sensation” by Shakespearances, promises a mix of laughter and tears.
The performances will take place on July 14 – 16 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in McLean, VA; there will be another two performances on July 22 and 23 at Grace Episcopal Church in The Plains, VA.
In addition to the performance, attendees will have the opportunity to indulge in Sicilian and French delicacies from Baguette Republic, featuring items like Focaccia pizza, biscotti, quiche, croissants, and Limoncello lemonade.
