SAS Performing Arts Company has announced the schedule and jury for its 2025 Vocal Competition.

The final round is set to take place in New York City from Nov. 21 – 23, 2025 with the jury featuring famed soprano Latonia Moore, mezzo-soprano Tichina Vaughn, Artistic Director Stephen Scovasso, and Executive Director Deborah Surdi.

The top winners of the 2024 competition included Luke Norvel, Cumhur Grögün, and Sadie Cheslak, with Alysha Nesbitt, Olivia Manna, Jason Duika, and Sean Seung Cha rewarded with Emerging Artist Awards.

Since opening in 2020, SAS Performing Arts Company has awarded over $20,000 to emerging talent. This year’s winners will be awarded close to $7,000.

Past winners have gone on to perform at New Orleans Opera, West Bay Opera, Florida Grand Opera, Detroit Opera, The Metropolitan Opera, Tulsa Opera, St. Petersburg Opera, San Francisco Opera, Paris Opera, Staatsoper Berlin, Staatsoper Stuttgart, and The English National Opera.
