The showcase in question features Bernstein’s “Trouble in Tahiti” with “A Century of Puccini: In Homage of the Centennial of the Death of Giacomo Puccini.” The showcase will allow audiences a glimpse into Bernstein’s 1952 opera in juxtaposition with excerpts from Puccini’s most renowned works, including “Madama Butterfly,” “Tosca,” La Bohème,” and “Turandot.”

Audiences will see the talents of mezzo-soprano Annie Chester, baritone Muir Ingliss, soprano Monica Camafreita, tenor Eric Sebek, and baritone Jonathan R. Green in the Bernstein piece. Nick Stamatakis performs at the piano.

The Puccini segment stars sopranos Kirsten Chambers, Rebecca Kidnie, Melanie Spector, and Gillian Watson; mezzo-sopranos Annie Chester; tenors Christopher Trapani and Eric Sebek; and baritone Muir Ingliss. Mary Pinto is the collaborative pianist for this part of the show.
